A foreign student requires a study permit if they want to study at a university, college or other type of school in Canada. However, they are not required to hold a valid study permit while they’re studying at a designated learning institution (DLI). International students planning on doing any kind of coursework or training that takes more than six months will require an open work permit. You cannot apply for a work permit through your Study Permit; you have to apply separately by creating an account on Global Affairs Canada’s website.

The University Of Calgary (Canada)

The University of Calgary is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta. Founded by royal charter on September 1, 1966, and originally operated out of two buildings on land leased from the City of Calgary before moving to its current location.

The student should have attained minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10+2/Intermediate. In case he/she has not completed 10+2/Intermediate then he/she must have passed class XII from a recognized Board with minimum 45% aggregate marks and an eligible candidate needs to be well conversant with English language. The applicants who are appearing at final year examination can also apply but they will not be considered till their results are declared.

The Université de Montréal (UdeM) is a public research university in Montreal, Québec. It was established on 1 July 1965 following the merger of Laval University and Université de Montréal. Dalhousie University (Dal) is a public research university located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
